Because it’s the middle times of your high school life. Unless you are badly bullied, those times will be the most unforgettable time of your life. Well, for me, that is true. But in my case, what made it unforgettable is not my class.

They said, it’s the best because in first year, as a freshman you adapt a lot. You still learn how things are in HS and when you finally figure it out, you upgraded. And in the 12th class, you have to focus on the final exam. And in a blink of an eye, you graduate. That’s why they say, 11th grade is the time when you can play all you want, live life to the fullest, and be young.

But guess what. I just saw on my twitter timeline that one of my classmates is reminiscing about the things that we had passed together as a classmates. She mentioned every single thing that we have done (which is not that much, tho) and pretty surprisingly, I don’t feel a thing.

I don’t know, tho. Maybe the presence of my class is too overshadowed by the fun that I’m having with my Theater Team. But I’m just pretty surprised that I don’t even miss any of those thing that we had.

I tried to recall the unforgettable things. Nothing comes to mind except the study tour to Bali and Jogja. But that was NOT with my class, that was with the whole generation. And even if we went there together, I can’t call it as “my class” entirely, because it was only half of us who came along. And it’s not that I don’t spend enough times at class not to feel a thing—I actually be present in class more than I don’t, really, I don’t leave it much, not even for my Team—But it’s just…..They can’t get into me. A classmate is all they’ll ever be. They can befriend my surface, but they can’t befriend who’s inside. They might laugh at my jokes, but they don’t understand what makes me say it. It’s just…. No. We don’t click, okay. We don’t…. What’s the word? Zing? Like in Hotel Transylvania? Whatever but the point is no.
